Moving into a new neighborhood in a new city was challenging at first. I felt like another college student dropping in for a year. Looking around what seemed to be a quiet neighborhood, I soon realized the life that occupied the homes close by. Like any journey, this one began with a lot of hesitancy from my new neighbors. Further explaining that I wanted to get to know everyone in the neighborhood along with sharing a snippet of their story, I was warmly welcomed into strangers homes with my lighting equiptment and camera. Below you'll find a short story of six of my new neighbors that have helped me feel more at home on a new street.
